Things I'm grateful for today:
1. Waking up earlier than usual and feeling rested.
2. Chatting with Mom on the phone.
3. Outing with Mom and Lissa, late lunch and shopping around.
4. Buying Mom her a present for her birthday, something I know she will enjoy.
5. Hugging my daughter when she cried, grieving over the passing of her beloved grandfather.
6. Medication for my pain.
7. Drinking iced chocolate while unwinding and getting ready for bedtime.
8. My husband being there whenever I fall.
